4-Week Creative Writing and Publishing Course

Course Description

Unleash your inner poet! In this 4-Week Creative Writing & Publishing Course, students will explore the art of poetry—from sparking ideas to refining their words into moving, memorable pieces. Working collaboratively, students will create and publish a group poetry book to share with friends and family, celebrating their creativity and growth as writers.

Curriculum

 Week 1: Discovering Your Voice

  • Introduction to poetry forms and techniques
     

Week 2: Building Craft

  • Drafting multiple poems and using peer workshops to share ideas
     

Week 3: Refining & Editing

  • Revising for clarity, tone, and emotional impact
     

Week 4: Publishing & Celebration

  • Hosting a group reading and sharing the printed book of poems with loved ones

Student Outcomes

Cohort 1: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM EST 

on Tues/Thurs (ages 12-14)


Cohort 2: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM EST 

on Tues/Thurs (ages 15-18)

Cost

$1800 USD. Tuition includes textbooks, materials, and certificate of completion.
