8-Week Sterile Processing Certification Exam Prep (CRCST) Course
Prepare to launch or advance your healthcare career with our comprehensive Sterile Processing Certification Exam Prep course. Designed for adults pursuing certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) to become Sterile Processing Technicians, this course covers essential knowledge, industry standards, and practical skills needed to pass the HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) exam with confidence.
Program Dates
Session 1: December 4, 2025 - January 30, 2026*
Thursday and Friday from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (EST)
*No classes on December 25 and January 1.
Session 2: December 6, 2025 - January 25, 2026
Saturday and Sunday from 5 PM - 8 PM (EST)
Session 3: December 6, 2025 - January 25, 2026
Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM - 3 PM (GMT +1)
Curriculum
- Infection control, decontamination, and sterilization protocols
- Instrumentation identification and handling
- Anatomy, microbiology, and surgical terminology
- Storage, inventory, and distribution systems
- Regulations, standards, and compliance (OSHA, AAMI, CDC)
- Mock exams and test-taking strategies for CRCST
Student Outcomes
Upon completion, students will be equipped with the foundational knowledge and technical skills to succeed on the CRCST certification exam. Graduates will be prepared to pursue entry-level positions as Sterile Processing Technicians in hospitals, surgical centers, and other healthcare facilities, supporting safe and sterile environments for patient care.
